Meet your Teacher
My name is Camila and I will be your teacher.
I am the creator of the blog Pies and Tacos, which reaches millions of people each year. I teach people from all over the world to make macarons with my YouTube videos, my blog, and social media posts.
I have also published a book called Macaron School in 2020, which has sold over 13,000 copies.
I have been teaching macarons since 2018, and I have taught bakers from all over the world! I have personally coached thousands of students in my classes, with all sorts of backgrounds, from bakers with no experience to professional pastry chefs. I know exactly the questions you have and I know how to help you become a master macaron baker!

A Complete Macaron Making Class
On the first module, we will cover the basics: ingredients and tools. It’s very important to have the right ingredients and tools in order to succeed at macaron making.
Oh the second module of the course, we are going to dive deep into a macaron-making class. I will show you how to make macarons using the Swiss method. We will learn how to make the perfect meringue, and how to master the macaronage. Followed by a lesson in splitting the batter to make different colors, and a lesson on how to master the piping technique.
The third module is dedicated to Chocolate Macaron Shells.
On the fourth module, we are going over the French method, where we will learn the complete French macaron recipe.
The fifth module is all about baking. We will talk about rest or no-rest methods, oven drying, how long to bake, baking temperatures, and more!
On the sixth module, we cover lots of tips and tricks, such as: storage and serving, mini macarons, shell colors (how to get white shells, vibrant colors, and pastel colors), how to flavor macaron shells, and how to substitute almond flour.
The seventh module is dedicated to troubleshooting. Troubleshooting is a huge part of becoming a macaron master, we will cover all about humidity and how it factors in, we will discuss every single macaron issue you can encounter and how to identify and fix the issues, and furthermore, we have a video dedicated to some frequently asked questions I receive all the time.
The eighth module is going to cover decorating techniques. In separate videos, I will cover some of my favorite ways to dress up macarons, the tie-dye technique, shaped macarons, and ways to fill your macarons to add interest and beauty to them.
The ninth module contains 23 exclusive filling recipes with videos that you can learn how to make.
The last module is all about Christmas Macarons, and it contains 10 macaron filling recipes, videos, templates, and exclusive flavors dedicated to Christmas.
