Instructions
Air Fryer Salmon
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
Pat the salmon filets dry with a paper towel.
Place them in a bowl. Add the olive oil (or melted butter), lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
Stir the salmon to coat well on all sides.
Place the salmon filets in the air fryer basket in a single layer, skin-side down if applicable. Be careful not to overcrowd the basket.
Cook Time for 7–10 minutes, depending on the thickness of the filets.
The salmon is ready when it flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
Remove the salmon from the air fryer, sprinkle the paprika, garlic powder, you can also add chili powder, onion powder, or any other seasonings you’d like.
Serve immediately.
Mayo Sriracha Sauce
In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sriracha, lemon juice, honey (if using), and garlic (if using) until smooth and creamy.
Taste the sauce and adjust the ingredients to your liking. Add more sriracha for extra heat. Add more honey or lemon juice for balance. For the best flavor, let the sauce sit in the fridge for 10–15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld. Drizzle the sauce over the salmon or serve it as a dipping sauce on the side.
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
Notes
Tips for Success:No Sticking: If your air fryer basket isn’t non-stick, lightly spray it with cooking oil before placing the salmon.Thicker Filets: Add 1–2 minutes to the cook time for extra-thick filets.Seasoning: you may add the seasonings before air-frying the salmon. I prefer to add after so the seasonings don't burn.Mayo Sriracha Sauce Recipe: This sauce also works great with roasted veggies, fries, or as a sandwich spread.
