PIES AND TACOS
If a gooey cinnamon roll and a buttery blondie had a baby, this would be it.
Beat softened butter for 1 min. Add brown and granulated sugar, beat 2 more mins until fluffy. Mix in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla.
Add the flour, baking powder, and teaspoon salt. Mix just until the dry ingredients disappear—don’t overmix.
In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar and cinnamon for the filling.
Spread 1/3 of the blondie batter into the pan. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over it. Dollop remaining batter on top, then gently spread to cover the cinnamon layer.
Beat cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth. Add vanilla, then thin with cream until pourable.
Once the blondies are cool, drizzle the cream cheese icing over the top. Slice and enjoy.
These bars are elegant enough for a dinner party.
