Pecan Pie Brownies

Melt butter and chocolate, whisk in sugar, then add eggs and vanilla—your brownie batter is ready!

Sift flour, cocoa, and salt; fold into the wet mix, then stir in pecans and chocolate chips.

Pour the brownie batter into your prepared pan, spreading it into an even layer with an offset spatula.

As the brownies bake, simmer chopped pecans with butter, maple syrup, brown sugar, corn syrup (optional), and salt.

Pour the warm pecan caramel topping over the baked brownies and return to the oven for 20–25 minutes.

Cool the brownies in the pan on a wire rack, then slice into squares. Let them sit for 20 minutes at room temperature before serving.
