Mummy Pastries with pumpkin filling

The pumpkin filling is easy and delicious to make

You can use store-bought pie dough, or you can make your own

Cut a rectangle out of the rolled out pastry

Fill the pastries with the pumpkin filling.

Place strips of dough crosswise. Overlap a few to make it look like a mummy.

Trim the ends with a pastry roller or knife.

Brush with egg wash before baking.

You can sprinkle a mixture of cinnamon and sugar on top.

Once baked, place the eyes.
