PIES AND TACOS

Lemon Bundt Cake

Prep Time: 40 Min

all-purpose flour salt baking powder baking soda granulated sugar lemon zest unsalted butter eggs sour cream lemon juice milk sweetened condensed milk

Cook Time: 1 hour

Ingredients

White Scribbled Underline

This cake is butter based, with a lemon sugar that gets beaten into the butter until the mixture becomes fluffy and light.

The batter is made with a delicious lemon sugar, that's made by rubbing the sugar and lemon zest together, which makes the lemon release natural oils that smell and taste so good.

Mix the batter just until incorporated in order to prevent the cake from being dry or tough when it bakes.

Spoon the cake batter in the greased bundt pan. Use a spatula to smooth it out, and ensure the batter is evenly distributed.

When the cake comes out of the oven, let it cool down, then prick the top with a fork. Pour the syrup all over the cake. Trust me on the syrup, it is fantastic!

Mix sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice to make the lemon glaze. Pour it on top of the cake. Top that with lemon zest, and you’re good to go.

The texture of this cake is unmatched! The lemon flavor is bursting through each layer: the cake sponge, the syrup, and the glaze.
