DULCE DE LECHE GUIDE

everything you need to know about Dulce de Leche

In this guide I will teach you all about dulce de leche, what it is, how to make it, where to buy it, the best brands, and much more!

Dulce de leche is a Latin America staple! It was created in Argentina, however, it’s widely popular across all Latin America.

In Spanish dulce means sweet, and leche means milk. The translation would be something like: “candy (or dessert) made from milk” Dulce de leche is basically a caramel made from sweetened milk. It can be made several different ways.

On my website I have 4 different methods explaining how to make dulce de leche: from a can of sweetened condensed milk in the instant pot, in the oven, or in the slow cooker, or from milk and sugar on the stovetop.

I go over the pros and cons of each method and which one is my favorite. Spoiler alert: it's the instant pot one.

I also go over some brands of sweetened condensed milk and what do I like to use them for.

Dulce de leche is absolutely delicious and you can use it for many things! Sometimes even to just eat it with a spoon, arguably the best way of them all.

On my website I have about 30 recipes using dulce de leche that you can choose from!
