This Coffee Cake is simply delicious. A moist and soft crumb, with a Cinnamon Filling, topped with Streusel Crumb and Cream Cheese Glaze.
In a small bowl mix the flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon. You can use light or dark brown sugar.
To make the crumble topping, add the flour, brown and white sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a medium bowl. Add the butter, and use a fork to incorporate the ingredients together.
Mix the dry ingredients together. Then, beat the butter; add the sugars to the butter, and beat again until the mixture is fluffy. Follow with the eggs.
Add the vanilla and the sour cream. Mix. Pour half of the dry ingredient mixture in. Add the milk and mix. Now, add the remaining flour mixture.
To assemble the cake, pour half of the batter on the bottom of the prepared pan. Spread the Cinnamon Sugar Mixture on top. Top with the remaining batter. Spread the Streusel Topping over the cake.
To make the Cream Cheese Glaze, beat together the butter and cream cheese. Add the powdered sugar, and milk. Mix to combine.
All that's left now is to drizzle the glaze on top of the baked cake. It looks stunning, and tastes heavenly.
