Beat the butter, sugar, and oil. Add eggs, red food coloring, vanilla, and mix. Sift the dry ingredients into the batter, alternating with the buttermilk.

Pour the cake on a greased jelly roll pan and bake in the oven. Cut out hearts using a cookie cutter.

Beat the butter and the sugar. Add the eggs and the vanilla. Add the sour cream, and mix. Add the flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until smooth.

Once the vanilla cake batter is ready, place it in a piping bag. Pipe a layer of batter on the bottom of the pan. Put the hearts in the center.

Cream Cheese Glaze

Mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, milk and vanilla for one to two minutes. Spread on top of the cooled cake and enjoy.
