Preheat oven to 325ºF. Pulse graham crackers in a food processor until finely ground—like sand—for a crust that holds together well.
Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until it resembles wet sand. Press firmly into the bottom and sides of an 8- or 9-inch springform pan.
Bake the crust at 325ºF for 10 minutes until lightly golden. Let it cool completely before adding the cheesecake batter.
